Buildings built in old age, such as castles, shrines and temples, old houses, etc. are left in various places in Japan, and it is necessary to utilize these in various ways in order to leave them as historical resources in later generations. As one example of its application, the authors have created interactive projection mapping using various places in historic houses. In this paper, we introduce projection mapping using furniture such as shoji, a floor to toe, a hanging scroll, a tatami floor, etc. inside the historical house. We directed the tea ceremony using the produced projection mapping and entertained the participants.

地域資源発掘のための地域魅力投稿サイトの開発

少子高齢化や景気の低迷などといった課題を解決するため,地域振興が進められている.地域振興を
目的とした取り組みの中で地域資源の活用が注目されている.地域ブランド化や町づくりなど住民に向け取り組まれている事例のほか,地域資源を元にした旅行商品や体験プログラムを企画運営し,観光に活用するニューツーリズムも推進されている.このように地域資源は,様々な場面で活用でき,地域の魅力として発信していくことが地域振興につながる.そこで本研究では,これらの地域資源を発掘するために,地域の住民が自ら地域の暮らしや風景などの魅力を蓄積し,それを地域資源として活用できるサイトを開発する.開発したサイトを宮崎県小林市須木地区において実証し,その有用性を検証する.

An Experiment of Interactive Projection Mapping with Shoji of a Historical House

Buildings built in old age, such as castles, shrines and temples, old houses, etc. are left in various places in Japan. In order to leave them as historical resources in future generations, it is necessary to utilize them in various forms. As an example of its application, we introduce interactive projection mapping using shoji of a historical house in this paper. This is realized by using multiple projectors inside the house and projecting image to the shoji. Audience sees the images projected on the shoji of from the outside of the house. At this time, the projected image changes interactively in response to the movement of the audience. In the event using our shoji projection mapping, more than 200 people enjoyed the images projected on the shoji of historical houses and interaction with them.

Today, governments and companies are prioritizing support for the elderly by providing IT services through tablets. Nevertheless, the elderly often face difficulties using tablets. For example, it can be difficult for elderly individuals to easily tap the screen. This research is intended to understand how we can help the elderly utilize these devices through a quantitative evaluation of tablet operating skills as well as through an analysis of the operation log. This analysis includes investigating time and placement of tapping for participants spanning from 20 to 80 years of age.

Abstract
Townscapes change from moment to moment, and the data of change like photos and maps is kept and archived in many museums and libraries. In this research, we focus on archived photo data and provide an environment in order to allow people experience the change of townscapes in real towns by developing a smartphone application. This application brings people the opportunity of learning the history of cities and considering about the townscape. After showing the results of the project applied to Matsushige Rock Gate that is the cultural heritage in Nagoya, Japan, we also propose to apply it to the city of Graz, too.

Abstract
As the concept of open innovation becomes more widespread, the resolution of societal issues through collaboration with various entities is also required with the promotion of open data in tourism. However, there are only a few local tourism associations that are currently collaborating with each other, and hardly any attempts have been made to turn the citizens' rich knowledge and information of tourism into open data sets. In this study, it was attempted to create open data sets using citizens' tourism information to promote tourist attractions. In this paper, the promotion of open data through citizen collaboration, including volunteer tour guides, and the creation of open data sets of tourism information provided by tourists will be discussed.
