Recently, which is a feature of social media, from the characteristic anyone can disseminate information, the information that transfer extensively instantly, a word of mouth is expected and attent to the effect and importance. In this study, among the social media, we focused on the micro-blogging service "Twitter". To investigate a word-of-mouth effect on Twitter, how much is related to the sales of goods, we targeted the download service application "iTunes App Store". As result of the study, the followings are found out. Increase in Retweet was observed in iTunes App Store rankings soaring before. However, it is only found in a particular application, such as the game. In addition, soar of ranking, a particular user who tweets that are based retweet than the number of retweet was proved to be important for ranking to be soaring.
