It is intended to investigate the influence on human body by the superheated steam sauna with a subject experiment. It continually measured physiological response such as skin temperature, sweat production, cutaneous blood flow and so on, and made a declaration on psychological response such as thermal sensation, thermal comfort and so on. The thermal sweating and cutaneous blood flow rose rapidly after entering the sauna room in 10 minutes and showed a mean skin temperature rise of 2 degrees Celsius. Either subjects approximately equally reported "hot" on thermal sensation, but there was the tendency that their evaluation on thermal comfort and satisfaction did not agree because of the preference for sauna or relatively light load of superheated steam sauna.

Study on the influence of the fresh air introduction in the office space with multi-sprit type air-conditioning system Open Access

In this paper, we show the results of field survey about the fresh air introduction in office space adopted with multi-sprit type air-conditioning system. The results showed the trend that the total heat exchanger inhaled the supply air from indoor units in the heating period. They also showed the number of days that daily-averaged indoor CO2 density exceeded 1,000ppm was increased according to outside temperature in the cooling period, and the number was more than that of the heating period. Therefore, there is the possibility that ventilation is not performed well in the cooling period.

Study on the Thermal Comfort of the ventilated car seat in Summer Open Access

In this paper the ventilated car seat was tested that was designed for both increasing thermal comfort and saving energy on hot summer days. Supplied air was blown from the car interior through the seat toward the back of the seated person. A subjective experiment was conducted. Even in the neutral air temperature, 25℃, thermal comfort was more increased by the seat ventilation. Thermal comfort in the condition of 28℃ air temperature with the seat ventilation was nearly the same as 25℃ without the seat ventilation. As such it was confirmed that this system was effective in energy saving.
