We have developed efficient assembly of three peptide fragments by using peptide ligation reactions. Among many protein targets, we selected cysteine-rich proteins, which are difficult to produce with over-expression due to protein aggregation and important class of proteins in biology research. We studied total chemical synthesis of several cysteine rich proteins. And we are planning to apply them to biology research with collaboration with biologists.
