The National Museum of Health and Medicine, USA possesses a rich collection of Japanese-related artifacts, however an indepth survey of the relevant material culture holdings had never before been undertaken. In this research project investigated all artifacts related to Japan to make a catalog. This thorough and comprehensive catalog will promote further research in the field of history of medicine, science, technology and military medicine.
