    Exotic quantum phase transitions in metals, such as the electronic nematic state, have been discovered one after another and found to be universal now. The emergence of unconventional density-wave (DW) order in frustrated kagome metal AV3Sb5 and its interplay with exotic superconductivity attract increasing attention. We find that the DW in kagome metal is the bond order, because the sizable intersite attraction is caused by the quantum interference among paramagnons. This mechanism is important in kagome metals because the geometrical frustration prohibits the freezing of paramagnons. In addition, we uncover that moderate bond-order fluctuations mediate sizable pairing glue, and this mechanism gives rise to both singlet s-wave and triplet p-wave superconductivity. Furthermore, characteristic pressure-induced phase transitions in CsV3Cb5 are naturally understood by the present theory. Thus, both the exotic density wave and the superconductivity in geometrically frustrated kagome metals are explained by the quantum interference mechanism.

    Based on the quasi-classical Eilenberger theory, we calculate the site-dependence of order-parameter and spin-polarized local density of states (LDOS) in the vortex lattice state of helical p-wave superconductors. The spin-polarized LDOS is induced around the vortex core by the vorticity coupling to the chirality of up-spin pair or down-spin pair. In order to distinguish the d-vector symmetry, we investigate the magnetic field effect on the spatial structure of the spin-polarized LDOS.

    In strongly correlated electron systems, impact of vertex corrections (VCs), which describes the higher-order many-body effects, attract increasing attention. Here, we perform the theoretical study of VCs in Fe-based and cuprate superconductors, based on both the diagrammatic method and functional RG method. We revealed that the “electronic nematic states” observed in these strongly correlated systems, originate from the Aslamazov-Larkin VCs. The physical meaning of the Aslamazov-Larkin VCs is the “quantum interference between charge, spin, and orbital fluctuations”, which is found to be very important in various strongly correlated electron systems.

    Spatial structures of the local superconductivity and the bound electronic state near the surface are theoretically studied based on calculations of the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation, focusing electric-field-induced surface superconductivity. Especially, in the pair-breaking effect by magnetic fields parallel to the surface, new mechanism by the diamagnetic effect is considered in addition to the paramagnetic effect. From the results, it is clarified that contributions by the sub-band structure and multi-gap superconductivity eminently appear in the magnetic field dependence of the superconductivity.

    本研究の目的は、鉄ニクタイド系化合物の超伝導ギャップ関数の対称性および超伝導発現機構を解明することである。近年発見された、鉄ニクタイド系化合物において、反強磁性揺らぎを媒介とした符号反転s波(s+-wave)超伝導の発現が示唆されている。一方で鉄ニクタイド系化合物の超伝導状態は非磁性不純物に対して強く、超伝導転移温度(Tc)の低下が小さいことが実験から明らかにされている。しかし、s+-waveは非磁性不純物に対して弱く実験結果と整合しない。よって本研究において各種物理量を計算し、実験結果と比較することにより、実験結果と整合するギャップ関数および超伝導発現機構を探索する。
