    In order to effectively use the huge amount of dredged soil of Nagoya Port as geomaterials, four kinds of stabilizers are used to improve the properties of the soil. The treated soils are studied through a series of laboratory tests to comprehend the mechanical behaviors and the behaviors are investigated by using SYS Cam-clay model. Through the experimental results, the treated soils have higher the unconfined strength than the dredged soil. In order to interpret the effect of these stabilizers on the mechanical behaviors as the action of the soil skeleton structure on the behavior, the simulation of the mechanical behavior of the treated soils is used by the same elasto-plastic parameters as the dredged soil. The simulation result indicates that the treated soils can be in highly initial structured state and heavy initial overconsolidated state with not only slow decay of structure but also slow loss of overconsolidation compared with the dredged soil. Only for steel slag-treated soil, the mechanical behavior can be simulated by using new elasto-plastic parameters because the grain size ranges wider and the weight proportion more than other stabilizers.

    The Super/subloading yield surface model was proposed to explain the complicated mechanical behaviors in natural deposited clays. In this constitutive model, the concepts of “structure", overconsolidation and anisotropy and these evolution laws are introduced into the modified Cam-clay model.
    In the present study, the undrained triaxial compression tests and the oedometer tests of three kinds of the natural deposited undisturbed clay were carried out, and then those behaviors were simulated using Super/subloading Yield Surface model. The new findings are as follows:
    1)The overconsolidated clay in the undrained triaxial compression test displays the “rewinding", a softening behavior with decrease of p' after a hardening with decrease of p'. On the other hand, the normally consolidated clay displays a softening behavior with decrease of p' after a hardening with decrease of p'. 2)The clay is able to sustain greater vertical loads for the same void ratio as the reconstituted clay in the one-dimensional compression behavior .3)For three kinds of the undisturbed clay, the Super/subloading Yield Surface model can simulate the undrained triaxial compression behaviors ranging from in normally consolidated state to in overconsolidated state corresponding to various isotropic pressures using a single set of material constants. In addition, the model can simulate the one-dimensional compression behaviors using the same material constants as those used in the shear behavior.

    ① 不飽和土三軸供試体の吸水破壊メカニズムの解明 : 降雨による斜面や盛土の変形・破壊メカニズムの解明を見据えて、不飽和土三軸供試体の吸水破壊試験とその数値シミュレーションを行った。実験では、不飽和シルト供試体に対して三軸圧縮過程中に荷重一定条件下で間隙圧を上昇させる吸水試験を行い、供試体が吸水時に軟化して、軸変位が急激に生じて破壊に至ることを示した。その数値シミュレーションにおいては、慣性力を考慮可能な不飽和土対応の有限変形解析コードにより、供試体が吸水軟化により加速度を伴って破壊に至る挙動の再現に成功するとともに、「塑性圧縮を伴う軟化」と「塑性膨張を伴う軟化」の二つの吸水破壊メカニズムがあることを明らかにした。
    ② Full formulationに基づく解析コードの妥当性検証 : 透水性が極めて高い土の動的変形問題を解くために開発したfull formulationに基づく解析コードの妥当性検証を、一次元動的弾性変形問題を例題として行った。この問題の理論解と解析解が良く整合するとともに、支配方程式が減衰波動方程式に帰着され、理論解が固有値に応じて性質の異なるモード(過減衰~減衰振動)の重ね合わせで表現されることを明らかにした。
    ③ 解析コードの高速化・大容量化 : 解析コードをOpenMPとMPIのハイブリッド並列化により高速化・大容量化を進め、その解析コードを用いて、横ずれ断層に関する大規模な3次元弾塑性有限変形解析を行った。具体的には、横ずれ断層の形状をランダムに変えた複数ケースに対して表層地盤の変形を解いた結果、ひずみの局所的増大が「断層線の傾きが最大の拘束性屈曲」において優先的に発生することが示された。この結果は、地下の主断層線の形状が特定された際に、その変位により生じる副次断層の変位がどこで卓越するかを予測する際の手がかりになり得ると考えられる。
    前述①について、不飽和土の吸水破壊メカニズムに関する実験事実を蓄積することができた。また、その数値シミュレーションにおいて、土供試体が吸水軟化により加速度を伴って破壊に至る挙動の再現に成功したことは、降雨による斜面や盛土等の変形・破壊メカニズムの解明に大きく近づいたと考えられる。前述②について、u-p formulationでは計算不可能な超高透水性土の変形メカニズムの解明が進んだ。前述③について、解析コードの高速化・大容量化が着実に進み、これまでは困難であった大規模計算を数多く実施できるようになってきた。
    以上のように、各研究課題に対して、研究計画に従って一定の成果を得られているため、おおむね順調に進んでいると自己評価した。
    前述①の研究成果を受け、降雨および地震と降雨の複合外力に対して、斜面や盛土等の実地盤・土構造物の変形・破壊挙動の評価、さらにはその対策工法の検討を進める。また、前述②のFull formulationに基づく変形解析コードを用いた研究課題を推進するために、引き続き常勤の研究員を雇用する。当研究員は前述③の並列化による解析手法の高速化・大容量化も併せて進める。

    Constitutive models for describing the mechanical behavior of soils have been separated into the models for clayey soils and ones for sandy soils. In this study, to integrate a different kind of constitutive models, a new framework in elasto-plastic theory for soils called “combined elasto-plastic constitutive model” is proposed. This framework allows the SYS Cam-clay model, which can describe the mechanical behavior of naturally deposited clayey soils, and the non-associated Drucker-Prager model, which has mainly simulated the undrained shear behavior of sandy soils, to simultaneously work within a single model.
    We also implemented the developed constitutive model into a soil-water coupled finite deformation code with the inertial term. This code enabled us to simulate ground disasters such as liquefaction and evaluate the effects of several countermeasures against the disasters.

    The specimen for triaxial compression test is made with drying-wetting cycles under one-dimensional compressive stress. The triaxial compression test result showed that the strength of the specimen is decreased by drying- wetting cycles. The specimen’s grain size before and after drying-wetting was almost same. However, the grain is softened by drying-wetting. From the above, the reason for the strength degradation is the grain softening in dry-wetting cycle.
    The effective seismic countermeasures for mudstone embankment is different from the embankment form. However, slope protection is effective seismic countermeasures for every embankment form in this study. The slope protection embankment deformation of top of slope is one-third of the non-countermeasure embankment deformation. However, the reinforcing material is yielded by the earthquake.
