中間赤外線高分散分光観測装置IRHS(mid-InfraRed High dispersion Spectrograph)は分散素子としてゲルマニウム単結晶のImmersion Grating(30$＼times $30$＼times $72mm)を用いた冷却エシェル分光器で、N-Band(波長$8 ＼sim 13 ＼mu {m}$)において、波長分解能42,000を達成する。また、大フォーマット検出器 (Raytheon社 Si:As IBC array 512×412pixels)をエシェル型分光器に採用することにより、広い同時観測波長帯域(1$＼mu {m}$/1フォーマット@10$＼mu {m}$)を実現する。IRHSは星形成領域や晩期型星周辺大気などの中間赤外線スペクト

中間赤外高分散分光装置ＩＲＨＳ（mid-InfraRed High dispersion Spectrograph）は有機物の多様な骨格振動における遷移が現れ、有機物の構造決定に重要な情報を与えるＮバンド付近（波長$8 ＼sim 13 ＼mu {m}$）において最高波長分解能$＼lambda / ＼Delta ＼lambda$ =200,000を達成する高分散エシェル分光器である。現在われわれのグループでは、そのプロトタイプ機（最高波長分解能$＼lambda / ＼Delta ＼lambda$ =50,000）の開発を行っている。このＩＲＨＳには目標天体が視野内に入っているかを確認するための撮像を目的としたスリッ
