本研究では，青年－両親間葛藤に及ぼす家庭外の社会文脈である学校と職場の影響，すなわち，スピルオーバー効果を検証する。調査は2回実施し，研究Ⅰでは中学1年生とその両親を対象にした合計4回の短期縦断調査を実施し，子どもの学校でのストレスと両親の職場でのストレスが，それぞれの心身の健康状態，親の養育スタイルの認知などの個人内要因を媒介して，青年－両親間の関係性の質である親子間葛藤と相互信頼感にどのような関連を示すか概念間の関連モデルの検証を行う。続く研究Ⅱでは半構造化面接を実施し語りのデータから概念間の関連モデルに関与している他の様々な要因を探索的に検討し，モデルをさらに精緻化させていくことにする。
2024年度は主に2つの研究活動を行った。
1．青年―両親間葛藤に関する文献研究：本研究課題のメインテーマである青年―両親間葛藤に関する最近10年間に国際誌に掲載された論文を収集した。その結果，青年を対象にした研究はあるものの親を対象にした研究は非常に限られている現状が再確認できた。
2．親の親子間葛藤解決行動尺度の作成および関連要因との検討：親子間葛藤は単にその経験の有無や辛さの程度だけではなくそれを以下に解決するかという葛藤解決行動も含めて検討する必要があるとの観点から，本研究課題においても親子間葛藤解決行動についても測定することにした。2024年度では2023年度に収集した中学生の子どもをもつ親を対象にした調査データを再分析して親の親子間葛藤解決行動尺度の作成を試みた。また，葛藤解決行動の構造について探索的因子分析により検討し対自分行動が3因子，対子ども行動が4因子からなることが明らかにされた。さらに親の葛藤解決行動と親子間葛藤による心理的ストレスの強さおよび親子の相互信頼感との関連について相関分析を行った結果，心理的ストレスの強さとは弱い有意な相関，相互信頼感とは中程度の有意な相関があることが明らかになった。この結果については，日本発達心理学会第36回大会でポスター発表を行った。そして，本研究課題の対象となっているスピルオーバー効果の可能性については，親の夫婦関係の質（夫婦の愛情）とワーク・ファミリーコンフリクトを親子関係の背景にある外的な社会的文脈の要因とみなし，親子間葛藤解決行動との相関関係の検討を行った。その結果，青年―両親間葛藤における解決行動と夫婦の愛情は部分的に有意な相関は認められるが低い相関であること，ワーク・ファミリーコンフリクトとの関連についてはほとんど有意な相関関係が見いだせなかったことが明らかとなった。この研究成果に関しては未発表である。
前年度に実施した調査データの分析に時間がかかっており，本研究課題への着手が遅れていることが主な原因である。研究概要で述べた通り，前年度の調査データは親子間葛藤解決尺度を作成するためのものであり，その尺度は本研究課題においても使用するために優先的に行う必要があった。また，親の親子間葛藤に及ぼすスピルオーバー効果を検証するためのパイロットスタディとして，夫婦関係とワークファミリーコンフリクトと親子間葛藤解決行動の関連を検討したため，その分，時間がかかっていたことも理由の1つとして挙げられる。
研究を推進するピッチを上げることと研究に費やす時間（エフォート率）を増やす必要がある。しかし，本研究課題においては短期縦断調査を実施する計画であるため，慎重に調査で測定する内容と尺度の選定を行う必要がある。そのため，研究計画期間を1年間延長する申請を行う予定である。

研究Ⅰは，中学生とその親を対象に面接調査を実施し，子どもの親に対する自己開示を促進するモデルを検討する。
研究Ⅱは，小学5年生から中学3年生とその保護者を対象に，モデルを検証するために，質問紙調査を実施する。次年度と次々年度は縦断調査の2回目，3回目を実施する。学年による差異と発達的変化を検討する。
研究Ⅲは，得られた結果より，子育て支援プログラムを考案・実施する。またその効果を検討する。
なお，面接調査と質問紙調査への協力者には，許可を得て実施する。
青年期前期（中学1年生から中学3年生）を対象に、母親の養育態度が母子相互信頼感を媒介して、母親の自己開示、また社会的適応感に影響を及ぼすのか、また縦断調査を実施し、どのように変化するのかを検討した。2024年度は、6か月間隔の縦断調査を2回（6月、12月）実施した。3回目は2025年6月に実施する予定である。
調査結果については、2025年10月に開催される日本教育心理学会や2026年3月の日本発達心理学会などで発表予定である。

2025年3月に「思春期の子どもの母親に対する自己開示と家族関係、適応感との関連」という題目で皇學館大学紀要に掲載された。本研究は、小学5年生から中学3年生8,601人を対象に，母親に対する自己開示尺度の因子分析，また母親に対する自己開示尺度の学年による差異，また家族関係と母親に対する自己開示，適応感の関連モデルを検討することを目的とした。第1に，母親に対する自己開示尺度を探索的因子分析後，確認的因子分析を実施した結果，秘密2項目と開示3項目を得ることができた。第2に，母親に対する自己開示の学年差を検討した結果，有意差は認められなかった。第3に，モデルを検討した結果，家族関係は開示に正のパス，秘密に負のパスが認められ，開示から精神的健康，自尊感情，友人関係，学校生活に正のパス，秘密から負のパスが認められた。これらの結果より，思春期の子どもが母親に対して，自己開示することは思春期の子どもにとって，適応的であること，また母親に対する自己開示を促進するには，良好な家族関係の重要であることを示唆することができた。

本年度は、協同研究者と研究の打ち合わせを5回ほど実施することができた（オンラインも含む）。データ分析の方法、論文執筆、投稿論文についての加筆修正、学会での発表、今後の研究の方向性などについて、議論を行った、今後も継続的に実施していく予定である。
2024年度は質問紙調査1回目を6月、2回目を12月に実施した。2025年6月に3回目を実施する予定である。当初は、2023年度から縦断調査を実施する予定だったが、公務により縦断調査を実施することが遅れてしまった。そのため、2024年度より実施し、研究計画を1年間延長することにした。
上記と重なるが、2024年度は縦断調査を2回実施することができた。6月に3回目を実施する予定である。
また、小学5年生から中学生とその母親を対象に実施したデータを、協同研究者と議論し、論文にする予定である。また、2024年度から2025年度の縦断調査結果も同様、論文にする予定である。
parent-adolescent conflict resolution process and its related factors

The purpose of this study was to examine contents of parent-adolescent conflict, related causal factors in the process, and hypothetical causal mechanism by using parent’s report. The results of a qualitative survey for parents with adolescent child showed that their experiences of parent-adolescent conflict occurred under diverse backgrounds including outside social contexts for family. Based on the qualitative survey, new scale for assessing parent’s conflict resolution behaviors was developed. The relationship between parent’s resolution behaviors, causal attribution to conflict, parental attitude, mutual trust with their adolescent, parent’s well-being, parent’s authenticity, the quality of marital relationship, and the work-family conflict were examined. As a result, the parental conflict resolution behaviors were strongly related to their daily parenting attitude and the quality of parent-adolescent relationship.
Development of gradual childcare programs promoting mutual trust against puberty child

This study investigated that gradual childcare programs were conducted against parents having puberty child. Gradual childcare programs were made up from 4step. 1step was program understanding psychology of puberty child. 2step was program reflecting parenting attitude. 3step was program promoting good relationship between parents and child. 4step was program solving conflict with child. Program was made up talking of the theme, exercise, discussion, feedback, reflecting. In order to measure effect gradual childcare programs, mother-child mutual trust scale and parenting skills scale were conducted against parents and the child in pre-test and post-test. As results, parents and the child promoted more post-test points than pre-test points on mother-child mutual trust scale and parenting skills scale. Parents wrote impression after each program, and they almost had positive opinion. From these, gradual childcare programs were effective.
A study on the relationships among early adolescents' emotional autonomy, mutual trust, and mutual regulation between children and mothers

The purpose of this research project was to examine the relationships among early adolescents’ emotional autonomy, psychological adjustment, and mutual trust between children and their mothers. Several cross-sectional and longitudinal questionnaire surveys were conducted. The results suggested that emotional autonomy in early adolescence was significantly related to negative relationships between children and mothers, and negatively related to mental health mediated by them. In addition to this, the results showed that perceived mutual trusts by early adolescents and their mothers were significantly predicted each other and were very important factors related to other independent and outcome variables.
