名詞述語文は，一般に「aとbは同一である」または「aはAに包摂される」という関係をあらわす（例：「平塚らいてうは {『青鞜』の創刊者 / 作家} だ」）が，その一方で，「ユミはウナギだ (= ユミはウナギを注文した，ユミはウナギの専門家だ，等)」「ヒロシはスーツだった (= ヒロシはスーツを着ていた)」「ナオミは東京に行く予定だ (= ナオミには東京に行く予定がある)」といった，非典型的な意味を持つ有標的な名詞述語文も存在する。本研究では，このような有標的名詞述語文の分類と，形式意味論，歴史言語学，対照言語学，語彙論といった諸観点からの分析に取り組む。
本研究では、以下の3つの課題がたてられている。(1) 日本語および英語に見られる有標的名詞述語構文を意味論・文法論的観点から仔細に検討し、既存研究における分類・分析を発展させる。(2) 種々の有標的名詞述語構文に述語名詞として参与しうる名詞群を、用例収集や容認度調査を通じて同定し、現代日本語の語彙体系のより精密な記述に貢献する。(3) 有標的名詞述語構文の使用様態の歴史的変遷を、構文レベル・語彙レベルで調査し、文法化の観点からの知見を得る。
初年度となる2022年度には、課題 (1) に関して一定の進展があった。具体的には、英語および日本語における「属性指定型名詞述語構文 (『その車はめずらしい色だった』の類)」「関係記述型名詞述語構文（いわゆる「人魚構文」の一種）」「オープンエンド関係型名詞述語構文（いわゆる「ウナギ文」）」について、これらの意味的・文法論的特徴の記述に取り組んだ。日英語において「属性指定型名詞述語構文」に参与しうる名詞の意味クラスの分類や「関係記述型名詞述語構文」の下位種の性質の同定、「オープンエンド関係型名詞述語構文」が自然に使用できる語用論的条件について知見を深め、形式意味論的な分析を構築することができた。これらの成果をまとめて論文を執筆し、学術雑誌に投稿するに至った。また、「オープンエンド関係型名詞述語構文」に関する学会発表を行うことができた。
一方、課題(2)・(3)については進展が乏しく、今後分担者間で連携しながら、データ収集の方法・方針を確立させる必要がある。
理論的な観点から研究課題に関する知見を深め、学術論文としてまとめることができた。この論文において提案された定式化・分析を核として、今後、体系的な語彙論的調査、歴史言語学および類型論的な発展につなげていくことができると期待できる。
以下の方向で研究を発展させることを企図している。(1) コーパスデータ等を利用して、種々の有標的名詞述語構文に参与しうる名詞の同定・分類を行う。(2) いくつかの語彙項目に着目して、もともと無標的な用法しかなかった名詞が「属性指定型名詞述語構文」「関係記述型名詞述語構文」の主名詞として用いられるようになる過程についての知見を深める。(3) 朝鮮韓国語、中国語、英語以外のヨーロッパ諸語における有標的名詞述語構文の使用様態について調査し、類型論的な観点からの考察を行う。

コーパスから収集したデータをもとに，収集した例文を構文タイプごとに分類し，前後にどのような構文が現れるか，またジャンルごとにどのような特徴的な構文間の結びつきがあるのかを考察する。こうした構文間の関係は必ずしも隣接する前後関係とは限らず，テキスト内の離れた位置に存在する構文同士が連関し合っている，ということも考えられる。また，歴史的観点からは，特に書き言葉ジャンルにおける構文とテキストとの関係を見ていく。これまで分析が手薄であった古代や中世，近世，近代における変体漢文や漢文訓読体を含めた書き言葉テキストと構文との関係を探っていく。
本年度も昨年度同様２回の研究会を開催し，進捗状況を報告した。
10月に行った第3回研究会では，大島デイヴィッド義和が「謙譲語II」と「丁重語」の使用に関わる要因―語用論・文体論的考察―」を発表し，謙譲語と丁寧語の関係を文体的観点から考察した。次に田村加代子が「否定詞の作用―『論衡』「逢遭篇」を例に」を発表し，古典中国語の異なるジャンルの中で，否定構文がどのように効果的にジャンルの特性に関わっているかを論じた。テキストの構成に明確なパターンがあり，ジャンルと構文の関係が分かりやすく議論されていた。続いて，齋藤文俊が既刊論文の紹介として「〈論文紹介〉明治後期における翻訳聖書の文体」を発表した。翻訳聖書の文体にどのような構文タイプが見られるのかを示し，当該の文体が生まれる背景について議論した。
3月に行った第4回研究会では，まず志波彩子が「古代日本語のラレ構文とジャンルー『源氏物語』と『今昔物語集』を例に―」を発表し，ラレ構文の受身，可能，自発，尊敬などの下位構文タイプが，王朝物語の源氏と説話集である今昔という異なるジャンルでどのように用いられているかを，各構文の割合や動詞の割合などを示しながら議論した。次に前田直子が「希望表現「～たい」の使用実態」を発表し，留学生の作文に見られる「～たいです。」の使用について，なぜこれが不自然なのかを，母語話者の使用と比較しながら考察し，議論した。最後に勝川裕子が「中国語の物語構築にける注視点の移動と構文選択」を発表し，日本人中国語学習者と中国語母語話者が，同じ4コマ漫画のストーリーを構築するのにどのような構文を用いるのかを比較しながら検討し，そうした構文選択が起きる背景を考察した。
志波は，学会誌『日本語文法』に，ジャンルと構文との相互関係について述べた論文を投稿中である。

本研究はテキスト・ジャンルが構文で構成され，ジャンルの中には特有のテキストのパターンがあるという発想のもと，研究を進めている。このような発想でテキストや構文を研究した研究は，これまでにほとんどないため，方法論などは手探りの状態である。さらに，テキストの構造というのは，文の構造に比べて何倍も複雑であり，そのパターンを捉えることは容易ではない。一方で，テキストを構成する構文のパターンが少しずつ明らかになりつつある。
それぞれの構成員が研究する構文の１つ１つが実はジャンルの中のテキストと深い関係を持っていることも明らかになりつつある。
研究会はオンラインと対面のハイフレックス式で行っており，毎回の研究会はほぼ全員が参加し，活発に議論が交わされている。
また，日本語文法学会の第23回年次大会において，宮地と志波がシンポジウム「ジャンルと文法；文法を揺るがす・形づくる・とどめる」を企画し，３人の講師を招いてジャンルと文法の関係を議論し，大きな反響を得た。

今年度は最終年度であるため，何かしらの成果を発表したいと思っている。
昨年の日本語文法学会で企画したシンポジウムに登壇いただいた大江元貴氏を招いて，6月に特別研究会を開催する予定である。その後，志波は8月にベルギーで行われるヨーロッパ日本学研究学会の大会で，古代日本語のジャンルと構文の関係について発表する予定である。
また，９月と３月にも研究会を開催し，構成員らの研究成果をまとめることができればと考えている。具体的には，それぞれが扱っているテキストの特徴を，以下の項目を参考に特徴づけ，こうした特徴と構文との関係について何か統一的な議論ができればと考えている。

本研究は、日本語否定極性疑問には (1) 肯定バイアスを伝達し、否定辞を含む語が音調的に際立ちを持たないもの (P型) と、(2) 否定バイアスを伝達し、否定辞を含む語が音調的に際立ちを持つもの (NN型) の2種類があるという観察を出発点とし、それぞれの型の音調・意味的性質の記述・分析を行った。日本語 (標準語) データの観察から得られた知見をふまえ、英語および韓国語慶尚南道方言との対照も行った。
否定疑問文は複雑な意味的・語用論的性質を持ち、また日常的なよく用いられる構文でもある。理論言語学において、否定疑問文は大きな関心を集めてきたが、これまでの研究の大部分は英語のデータを基に展開されており、英語以外（特に非印欧語）における同構文の性質を検証し、どのような類似点・相違点があるかを明らかにすることが求められている。本研究によって得られた日本語における同構文の意味分析は、今後の一般言語学的・類型論観点からの否定疑問文の研究に貢献することが期待される。また、否定疑問文の使用範囲（使用条件）にはたとえば日英語間でもかなりの違いがあり、的確な記述は外国語教育にも資する可能性を持つ。
