To improve our understanding of C/H2O/energy exchange over eastern Siberia boreal forest, new observation was started at a larch dominated forest in the southern part of Lena basin as part of the project “Global Warming and the Human-Nature Dimension in Siberia: Social Adaptation to the Changes of the Terrestrial Ecosystem, with an Emphasis on Water Environments" funded by the Research institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN, Kyoto).
The new station named Elgeeii (60° 0´N, 133° 49´E) is
