Explicit multiunicast (XCAST) has been proposed as a multicasting scheme with complementary scaling properties which can solve the scalability problems of conventional IP Multicast. XCAST is suitable for videoconferencing, online games and IPTV. This paper deals with QoS provisioning in XCAST networks using Differentiated Services (DiffServ). We show that integration of DiffServ in XCAST is a non-trivial problem due to inherent architectural differences between XCAST and DiffServ. We then propose a scheme called QS-XCAST that uses dynamic DSCPs to adapt to the heterogeneity of receivers in an XCAST network. We also provide an algorithm for harmonizing the receiver-driven and sender-driven QoS approaches between XCAST and DiffServ thereby determining the correct DSCP-PHB for all links in an XCAST network. By simulating using OMNeT++ we evaluate QS-XCAST using four metrics: throughput, average per-hop-delay, link utilization and forwarding fairness to other traffic in the network. Our solution eliminates DSCP confusion and collusion attack problems to which naive XCAST QoS provisioning is vulnerable. 我々は無線LANを用いた位置情報・測位に関するポータルLocky.jpを運営している.一般ユーザが観測し投稿された無線LAN情報をデータベース化し,そデータベースをもとに現在位置を推定することが可能である.しかし,無線LAN観測における不具合や,引っ越し,新幹線内基地局,モバイルWiFiなど移動する基地局が存在し,これらのデータを適切に処理しなければ位置推定精度に悪影響を及ぼしてしまう.本研究では,Locky.jpで収集された大規模基地局データベースを対象として,無線LAN観測における不具合と移動基地局を検出し,データを修正することで,無線LANデータベースの健全性を維持する.評価実験の結果,これらの修正を施すことにより,位置推定精度が向上することを確認できた.

現在,無線LANなどを用いた多くの屋内測位の研究が進んでいる.しかし,屋内測位の応用に向けた建物や地下街の構造的な地図情報は広く存在しない.ナビゲーションや詳細なユーザ位置に応じた情報配信などの屋内位置情報サービスの実現に屋内地図情報は必要である.また,屋内測位研究の発展にも屋内地図情報は有用である.本研究では,Web上や施設内の案内などのフロアマップ画像をもとに,クラウドソーシングのアプローチで屋内構造地図情報を広く収集することを目指す.本稿では,フロアマップの入手・自動構造化・人手での修正・構造情報の集約・構造情報の共有利用,といった一連の流れと,それを支援するシステムについて述べる.また,構造情報の内容の詳細についても述べる.

近年,プレゼンテーション映像の配信需要が高まり,学会発表の様子を撮影し配信する例が多くみられるようになった.しかし,プレゼンテーション映像を視聴する際,スクリーンに投影されたスライドや紙に印刷したポスタなど,映像内に映っているコンテンツの視認性が低く説明内容を十分に理解できないという問題がある.そこで,本研究では配信映像の中に映っているコンテンツの視認性を改善する配信映像加工手法を提案する.本手法では,映像内コンテンツのオリジナルデータがWeb上から獲得可能であることを前提とし,配信映像内のコンテンツ領域に,あらかじめローカル保存したオリジナルデータを重ね合わせて再生する.提案手法の適用例としてポスタ発表生中継システムを実装した.本システムの評価実験を実施し,ポスタ内容の視認性を向上し,視聴時のストレスや内容理解に必要な労力を低く抑えられることを確認した.

近年モバイルコンピューティング分野で盛んな研究テーマとして,屋内位置推定や建物構造の自動推定が挙げられる.しかし,現在までにこれらの研究で共通して利用可能なデータが存在せず,新たな手法を提案しても,既存研究との精度の比較検討が困難であった.我々は,屋内位置推定研究と建物構造推定研究を主なターゲットとした,屋内歩行センシングコーパス(GASC-IPSC)を構築した.被験者はスマートフォンを装着して建物内の様々な経路を移動する.スマートフォンに記録された加速度等のセンサデータに対して,右左折や階段昇降といった詳細な行動ラベルが人手で付与されている.また各歩行移動データには,スタート地点を原点とした1秒ごとの3次元座標の正解データも用意されている.このデータを利用して,各研究で提案された歩行者デッドレコニング手法の精度を検証可能である.また建物全体の歩行空間ネットワーク構造の正解データが用意されており,複数の歩行センシングデータを統合して建物構造を自動推定する研究のリファレンスデータとして利用できる.

Locky.jpでは100万を超える無線LAN基地局情報を1億を超えるユーザ提供情報から抽出している.「駅.Locky」を始めとするスマートフォンアプリ群も100万ダウンロードを越え,一般のユーザによる利用情報や,ユーザの状況情報などの大量の利用情報が収集されている.ユビキタスシステムでは多様な大規模情報を扱う枠組みが必要であるが,まだその手法は十分に確立されているとは言えない.本講演では,これまでの事例の紹介と,多様な情報を扱うための取組を紹介する.
