本研究の対象はFomin-Zelevinskyによって導入された団代数という代数的組み合わせ論的構造およびKontsevich-Soibelman, Gross-Schebertらによって導入された散乱図式という幾何的構造である．Gross-Hacking-Keel-Kontsevichは団散乱図式というものをを構成して，その性質を用いて団代数理論における重要ないくつかの予想を解決した．この結果を一歩進めて，団代数と散乱図式における概念と定式化を融合させ、団代数理論を新しい次元に進化させることが本研究の目指すところである．

可積分系における代数的組合せ論的構造について，主に団代数の理論と応用の研究を行なった．その結果，団代数における二重対数関数恒等式の古典力学の手法による導出，団代数におけるさまざまな同期性および関連する予想の系統的な証明，団代数理論と散乱理論の関係の団代数的観点による導出，団散乱図式の整合関係式が二重対数元の間の五角関係式により生成されることの証明，団散乱図式に付随する二重対数関数恒等式とその量子化，F多項式の積表示の導出など，さまざまな新しい結果と知見を得た．
団代数は2000年頃にFominとZelevinskyにより導入された代数的組み合わせ論的構造であるが，ルート系と同様に，さまざまな数学的対象に共通して現れる基盤的な構造であることから，世界中の多くの数学者や物理学者により，その基礎と応用の研究が盛んになされている．本研究成果は団代数の基礎理論に対して，新しい多くの知見を与えるもので，今後長い期間において世界に共有される有用な科学的成果と考えている． -
